- Variety of entertaining modes to play. From solo singing to paired duets there is something for even the most avid singer. Battle modes allow you to compete with your friends and family in challenges, while a pass the mic option allows for a fast paced party atmosphere which can be as humourous as it is hideously outrageously terrible! The duet modes are particularly comical, especially if neither can sing – which itself provides one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game, having fun with people that do not equally care about the dreadfulness of their singing voices.
- The range of media available to the customer is extensive, covering a multiplicity of singing genres. On the PS3, tracks can be downloaded from the internet at a pay-per-use rate, which enables the user to only select tracks that they are confident in singing. On average, the Singstar disks cost around £15 each, for approximately 20 listings a piece. In comparison, the individual costs of the single tracks, if you only wish to purchase a handful, will work out better and far more cost effective in the long run.
