Its design and proper build quality are not just equally great, but even improved on. The handset comes boxed with a leather case that makes carrying around the device safer, because it does protect it from getting scratched. Aside from it, the box contains a charger, headset, USB cable, hand strap and user guide. One of the qualities of the Nokia E72 that we like best is its dainty design. This is truly appealing business-oriented cell phone that comes with compact size, but emanates reliability.Its display measures 2.4-inches, has QVGA resolution and remains totally useable in direct sunlight, even though the image quality gets rather bad in this case. One of the minor design differences to the Nokia E71 is the integrated optical pad. It features great sensitivity (can be set) and is a fully functional replacement of the standard D-Pad. Still, if you don’t like this particular way of controlling the handset, you can easily turn it off.
The Nokia E72 retains the excellent keyboard of the E71 and we even think the buttons are actually easier to press. They have pronounced, pleasing travel, but unfortunately, their rather small size means you will have to use your fingertips, which in turn disallows faster text entry. The manufacturer has added shortcuts to activate the Bluetooth, silent mode and use the camera flash as flashlight. We do like the altered design of the functional keys and the send and end keys, it makes them easier to use and they look as if made of polished metal.
Around the back of the E72 you`ll find a 5-megapixel camera, supported by an LED flash. There is no dedicated camera key, relying instead on a shortcut button from the homescreen. Thereafter you get pretty average performance, the lack of a real lens soon showing itself. Once you`ve grabbed a photo you can quickly share it using Ovi, Flickr or Vox. Video capture gives you 640 x 480 at 15fps that is not an exceptional quality for sure. Battery life is good however, offering an advantage over its touchscreen contemporaries by giving a couple of days between charges with average use. However, after an intensive day of call, GPS use and browsing, you`ll still need to charge it overnight. If you do plan to abuse the navigation features, you`ll want a charger in your car too.

Delivering 1080p 24fps Full HD images, with support for 7.1 lossless formats Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, the player has all the trappings of a high-end machine but it comes with pricing that`s more than affordable. The BDP7500 is an impressive-looking machine. It`s made from aluminium, mixes a blue hue in with the black and the buttons are touch-sensitive and illuminated. And when it comes to playback most digital formats are catered for, including DivX Ultra, H.264, VC-1, JPEG and MP3. There`s also a USB hub on the front which is more than handy. As it`s BD-Live, the player has 1GB of internal storage so you can access all the Profile 2.0 content you want without worrying about the need for external storage. The front USB slot, which is nicely hidden behind a sliding flap, is unusually skilled. Choose USB from the deck`s home menu and it presents a comprehensive file system. For not only does the BDP7500 show the native folder structure on the USB stick, but it also intelligently inspects all content and places it under its own music, video and picture headings. MP3 and WMA music files are playable, and video is particularly skilfully dealt with. AVI and DivX files are handled well, with MP4, MPEG, WMV and DivX HD .mkv files all supported. The latter is useful for high-def movie trailers, though most of these can also be found on the various BD Live online portal sites.

After looking at this gadget for the first time you will not be able to resist saying that it is the most stylish HD Media Player on the stands selling like hot cakes. The Beautifully carved shape on the Glossy black body is the key to its featured stylish looks for sure. Features like Power and network access LEDs, connectivity at the rear includes Composite, Component, S-video, HDMI and coaxial S/PDIF audio, along with an Ethernet 10/100/1000 port gives the technical edge also. As a user you will have no problems hooking the device up and it`s nice to see that all the necessary cables are provided in the box, but one area that has been sadly overlooked is the presence of built-in wireless. While you can pick up a compatible USB dongle but this will make you really think this should be supplied as standard, considering the capabilities of modern wireless in successfully streaming HD media over the air. If you have a collection of ripped media formats then this gadget has MKV and WMV9 along with ISO, VOB and IFO support. other than these formats you can have many other less known formats getting played on this right at the first time without any issues which will please you for sure. Some of the few other technical beauty touches include the ability to control music playing in the background while browsing other features via a mini “background music” tool that can be activated at any time. It`s also possible to set up NFS shares over a network, share files using P2P via a Bittorrent client and the supplied remote control, despite having a typically cheap feel, is well laid out and easy to interpret.

The EasyShare S730, which lets users “unplug and share”. The battery powered digital picture frame allows for new ways to enjoy and share digital images. It also features the capacity to store up to 8000 pictures with 1 GB internal memory, Quick Touch Border with touch-sensitive controls, Dynamic collage mode, Picture Finder feature, Plug-and-play operation by just inserting a memory card or USB flash drive, and a 7 inch digital photo display. This provided number of images are much more than the usual frames. This can be seen as an album for long time as Clicking and storing 8000 pictures is not a short term affair. The display has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, which given the size isn`t the highest resolution, but in practise it looks good enough, even at close range and helps keep the price realistic. The finish of the frame is rather good too, the bezel is edged in metal and the front is a single sheet, so it looks like a premium product, rather than a cheap digital gimmick. The options on offer are rather comprehensive, allowing you to customise your slideshow to your liking, bring in the normal calendar options and so on. One feature we like is the dynamic collage, which gives you four images, so there is a variety rather than one picture sliding in and out in a regimental fashion. The frame auto rotates too with the swivel stand on the back making it easy to display your images in landscape or portrait aspects. This also applies to all the display modes, so you can have your collage any way round you like. The battery option brings a new range of possibilities to the frame, giving you a freedom to share that other frames don`t offer. It won`t let it be a standalone frame, but it will help you show off your photos when people come round.

The EH-DM3 is a bit of a bruiser in the looks department. A boxy, glossy black affair, it`s plastered with logos, buttons and air vents on all sides. It`s by no means ugly, and its top-mounted buttons are actually rather welcome considering the likelihood of this portable kit regularly becoming separated from its backlit remote, but it certainly won`t win any style awards. It does however offer ample room for connectivity options. Keeping in mind this could easily stand up as a one-stop DVD projection solution thanks to the built-in DVD drive and speakers, Epson generously include a HDMI port, component, composite, D-Sub PC input, USB for Jpegs and MP3s, digital coaxial audio output, and even mic input for any karaoke fiends out there.
There are some other issues with the EH-DM3`s picture quality. Though the contrast ratio has been beefed-up from 1,200:1 to 3,000:1 since the EH-DM2 model, black levels remain washed out and lacking in clarity. Watching the opening space battle from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, I was hard pressed to pick up any detail at all on even the largest of craft on screen. Unusually enough, this becomes most apparent when using the projector at night time. The 10W stereo speakers are also surprisingly powerful. Though at times harsh, they are loud enough to even negate the jarring distraction of having the audio source come from a different direction than the picture you are viewing. Throw in DivX support and you`ve got a fairly robust portable player here.
The EH-DM3 is packaged nicely, with a foldaway carry handle on one side, as well as a foam-lined bag.

Dark Void delivers a ground breaking combination of fast paced vertical combat mixed with mid-air and on-foot action. Something is consuming our universe, a vast and ancient force almost beyond our comprehension. Millions of years ago, the minions of that power found their way to the 3rd planet of an unremarkable yellow star. Ours. The race they created came to call their masters “The Watchers.” For millennia we knew them as gods and served their dark purposes, but a few humans developed extraordinary powers. They were known as the Adepts and they rose up, banishing The Watchers into a parallel universe, where they`ve manipulated and schemed from afar.
One problem with Dark Void is that it doesn`t quite know what it is. For the first hour or so it`s an uninspired riff on Gears of War with a touch of Uncharted, the main twist being the introduction of a vertical cover system based around ledges and platforms rather than walls and doorways. This actually works well, and it`s easy to pull off high-speed leaps and drops from platform to platform and ledge to ledge. However, with the opening section over, Dark Void goes beyond the conventional third-person shooter by throwing in elements of an old-fashioned arcade combat flight sim, with our hero swooping around with his jetpack battling flying saucers and crawling mobile tanks. You may not find your missions engaging enough to keep you stick the playing screen as they are not very much different from one another. Fast moving alien craft make for some frantic dogfighting, but your foes don`t show much grasp of tactics, and there`s too much of an emphasis on cheap Quick Time Event sequences to finish the invaders off. Dull, dull, dull.

Uncompromised gaming power requires powerful components, and while that`s fine in the roomy environs of a desktop tower, it`s more of a challenge in a notebook chassis. Asus` G60Vx adopts the usual solution to the problem: make the laptop twice as bulky as usual. To be fair, though, it`s nowhere near as big as some of the monsters we`ve seen recently: at just 3.42kg, it`s feather-light in comparison to the 6.1kg Asus W90, and Alienware`s 5.5kg gaming goliath, the M17x.
And where many of Asus`s previous gaming laptops resembled souped-up Golf GTIs – all UV lights and hulking exhausts – the G60Vx ushers in an altogether more understated charm. The glossy white lid shimmers attractively, and stands in stark contrast to the minimalist interior. Matte-black pools around the metallic trackpad, with gloss black engulfing the keyboard surround and screen bezel. It might not be a world-beating partnership, but Asus pairs a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 with an Nvidia GTX 260M graphics chipset to good effect. The kind of person interested in a gaming laptop probably isn`t too concerned with how fast Microsoft Office will run, but the Asus is pretty nippy, as a score of 1.30 in our real-world benchmarks ably demonstrates. Turn your attention to more entertaining pursuits and that Nvidia chip comes into its own. We pitted it against our Crysis benchmarks and it wasn`t until we cranked the resolution to 1,600 x 1,200 with high detail settings that the Asus finally admitted defeat; even then an average of 24fps is close to playable.

The long awaited Apple version of the “tablet” has arrived with the announcement today of the new Apple iPad, set to hit stores in April of this year. Much like a glorified iPod Touch, the Apple iPad sets a bar above and beyond the typical new tablets. Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the new gadget today, explaining that this new launch is an enhanced combination of a smartphone and laptop. Experience this and more on its large Multi-Touch screen, measuring 9.7 inches. With a high resolution, LED-backlit screen, the crisp display allows for an impressive 178 degree viewing angle, with perfect colour and contrast in any light. The touch response has been re-engineered, and the large surface makes it easy to do exactly what you set out to. The bonus of tablet computers is their portability, and the iPad is no exception. At just 1.5 pounds and 0.5 inches thick, it’s easy to take everywhere you go – and we’re sure there are a bevy of slick cases on the way. For those who are always on the go, they’ll appreciate the ten hour battery life and built in 802.11n wireless network, as well as an optional 3G model when Wi-Fi isn’t available. Inside, there is also an enhanced, custom designed A4 chip allowing for extreme productivity – this is combined with your choice of a 16, 32 or 64GB flash storage, for your collection of files, photos, movies, apps and more. Although it seems to be lacking specific connectors (such as a USB), it does include a 30-pin dock connector. And the built-in speakers allows for movie watching and music listening with ease (headphone jack is included). The new iPad can easily run about 140,000 apps available at the app store. It also comes with many of the applications that you already know and love.
Safari: You can make your way around the Internet using your finger. Clicking, pointing, scrolling and zooming has never been easier on the enhanced touch screen.
Mail: Compose, read, delete and send your emails in all of your favourite mail programs. Use two orientations – portrait or landscape – to view and organize your inbox to your liking. Photos: The high resolution, LED-backlit screen lets you see photos in a whole new light. Zoom, edit, email and organize with a new software that makes your iPad into personalized, portable album.
Video: Any kind of movies will make the cut, including television shows and podcasts. The picture completely fills the screen, keeping distractions at bay and letting you enjoy. It also includes a YouTube app, so videos are easy to find and watch.
Your music awaits, organizing your songs by their information. Simply tap to play a song, and listen through the speakers or headset – letting you take your music anywhere. You can also buy your music (or videos) from iTunes right from your iPad.

App Store and iBooks: Keep boredom at bay with about 140,000 apps and loads of new books. The LED-backlit screen display allows for reading in dim lighting, and the loads of choices will keep you busy during long flights, nights in or boring meetings. Five of North America’s largest trade book publishers, including Penguin, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Macmillan and Hachette, have signed as head suppliers of the new iBook store.
Calendar and Contacts
Just like on your Mac, Calender and Contacts are easily organized, keeping all your information at the touch of your fingertips. One thing we’re not sure of – but would be ideal – would be easy syncing with your Macbook.
The Environment
We also love the eco-ness of the upcoming iPad, designed with specific features to be earth-friendly. This includes a mercury-free LCD display with arsenic-free display glass, as well as being completely BRF0free and PVC-free. It is also made of a recyclable aluminum and glass enclosure.

The Alienware M11x is a thin and light notebook with an 11.6 inch display, an Intel CULV processor, and some seriously powerful graphics capabilities which make the M11x the first budget 11.6 inch laptop that gamers can truly love. And the folks at Hardware Heaven are apparently in love. They’ve published the first review of the M11x that I’ve seen, and they conclude that it’s one of the best products they’ve ever reviewed. This laptop is a bit heavy for an ultraportable, weighing in at 4.5 pounds. And it has the same angular shape as other Alienware laptops, which might be a turnoff for those looking for a sleek machine for use on the go. But here’s where the Alienware M11x stands apart: It can handle 720p and 1080p HD video playback, and it can handle 3D video games at 720p resolutions.It also has a backlit keyboard, which is rare on a budget ultraportable. The laptop has two graphics processors. For day to day tasks such as web browsing, Intel’s integrated graphics will probably do the trick. But when you want to play games, you can hit Fn+F6 to fire up the NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M GPU without rebooting. It features 1GB of dedicated video memory, DirectX 10.1 support, and Blu-Ray acceleration, among other features.It can handle recent games including Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Dirt 2 without breaking a sweat. With the provided option you’ll sacrifice some battery life if you switch from integrated to dedicated graphics. While you can surf the web for about 5.75 hours with integrated graphics, you’ll get less than 4 hours of HD video playback with the GeForce graphics, and just over 2 hours of gaming time.

The Samsung PS50B550 is one awesome slice of AV joy. The 50-inch screen is perfect for those with rooms dedicated to the art of watching Blu-ray movies and HD telly and nothing else. Picture quality is stunning, but you will need to make sure you’re sitting the correct distance back in order to enjoy the super–detailed pics in all their glory. If you were planning on slapping it above the fireplace in your bedsit, might we suggest plumping for a smaller model. Unsurprisingly, blacks on the Samsung PS50B550 are deep and colours look picture perfect, even in gloomy movies like Doubt. But let’s face it, a depressing trawl through a sinister priest’s life is not what this is about. Stick Die Hard on and you’ll see what this TV was built for. The Samsung PS50B550’s biggest drawer, though, is its extras. Sure the picture is stunning, but that’s expected from a plasma TV. Yes the 18-bit processing makes even the ugliest rugby players look great in hi–def. But the SRS audio and dual 10W speakers mean that if you’re short of cash for a full–on surround system, you needn’t worry.

There are a plentiful four HDMI ports shoved onto the back, which means the Samsung PS50B550 is more than equipped for a couple of consoles and your Sky HD box. The only issue you’ll have is finding another HD source.

Dante’s Inferno is based on the medieval epic poem The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. The dark fiction gave birth to the Tuscan Italian dialect and is widely considered the work that has defined the western world’s contemporary conception of hell and purgatory. The poem tells the tale of Dante who journeys through the twisted, menacing nine circles of hell in pursuit of his beloved Beatrice. Dante’s tortured and tormented world is an ideal setting for this 3rd person action and adventure of a video game, Dante’s Inferno. Written in the 14th Century, The Divine Comedy was published and read aloud in Italian (unlike the Bible), thereby making the poem accessible to the mass public. The poem delivers a striking and allegorical vision of the Christian afterlife and the punishments of hell. In part one, known as Dante’s Inferno, Dante traverses all nine circles of hell; limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, wrath, heresy, violence, fraud and treachery. After a fantastic opening with some rip-roaring anime-style cutscenes, Hell grows more and more repetitive, the monsters become less interesting, you lose interest in the upgrades, and it`s only the thought of what new bizarre monstrosity Visceral`s nutjobs will hit you with next that keeps you interested. The visuals have their bad patches, too, and much of the platforming is borderline awful, with rotten camera angles and ridiculous precision jumps from swinging rope to swinging rope that will aggravate you beyond belief. Here`s hoping there`s a special place in Hell for whichever rotten devil put them in there.

Mass Effect 2 is such a big game that, it’s hard to know where to begin. There’s so much new content and so many new features that it can all be a bit overwhelming at times, especially if you’re trying to pitch a review and can’t be sure how much of the first game people have played or still remember. Be warned then that, if you haven`t already done so, you might want to play Mass Effect 1 before venturing into the second game.Mass Effect 2 starts almost immediately after the close of the first game, cutting straight to the action and zooming in on Commander Shepherd as his ship dodges enemy fire.
Saviour of the Galaxy and the first human to be inducted as a secret agent for the Galactic Council, Shepherd is an iconic hero in the Mass Effect universe thanks to his defeat of the Reapers and the Geth in the first game. Intelligent machines that sit beyond the edges of the galaxy and which cull all organic life once every few million years, it took all the might of the military to defeat just one Reaper last time and now Shepherd is searching for a way to defeat the rest of the race before they return in force.Not that Shepherd knew he was chasing the Reapers at the start of the game – he thought he was chasing a rogue Council spy who had some ambiguously evil plan up his sleeve. It wasn`t too long before Shepherd and Co. uncovered the truth of the matter though; that the rogue Saren had been brainwashed by a Reaper which was manipulating him in an attempt to summon the rest of his race. Shepherd`s search for a weapon to use against the Reapers is tragically cut short though when he finds himself spiralling through space and slowly dying. Mass Effect 2 has barely begun – literally the intro cutscene is barely over – and already the adventure seems to be at a close. Shepherd’s death is little more than a chance for Bioware to accelerate the plot forward a little and the action hasn’t really even started yet. Instead of succumbing to the elements, Shepherd is rescued at the last minute by the most unlikely of heroes; Cerberus. A militant and pro-human terrorist group on the absolute fringes of morality, players might have traded lasers with Cerberus in the first game and yet in Mass Effect 2 you end up in their employ. Waking up two years after his supposed death, Shepherd finds that a lot has changed while he’s been asleep (and in near-constant surgery). The Galactic Council has become lost and disillusioned without his constant pestering and even the Alliance has apparently forgotten that the rest of the Reapers are still out there, plotting the annihilation of all. Instead, the events of the first game have been pinned solely on the Geth – who were nought but pawns in the whole thing – and the wider picture is being ignored. Cerberus, eager that all it’s manipulations and plans should not come to waste and that the dominance of humanity should be assured, have coaxed Shepherd back to life with the sole goal of letting him resume his mission. Cerberus’ leader, the mysterious Illusive Man, recognises that Shepherd is the only one who can lead the assault and so asks him to assemble a crack team and start investigating. It seems entire human colonies have been slowly disappearing on the edges of civilisation and, not believing the PR spiel, Shepherd thinks it’s a good place to start. So begins the new adventure, which gives players the dual goal of setting up a team of warriors for you to lead into the final act in the Mass Effect trilogy and of squaring off against the more immediate threat. Those colonies aren’t disappearing on their own, after all. You can infer that from the lack of a forwarding address.

Much like Forza 2, Forza 3 offers a large number of options for the player to let the game cater to their tastes. Traction control, anti-lock brakes, racing/braking lines, and transmissions are all adjustable, and give racing sim greenhorns a chance to learn the basics without instantly hurling their Ferrari into a wall. Experienced racers, though, will probably want to turn all these options off immediately and go straight to Advanced mode, as all the electronic safety nets and traction nannying can be maddening to a player familiar with real racing physics. Forza 3 also adjusts your experience and prize money according to your difficulty level — turn off traction control and racing lines, and your driver level and bank account will grow more quickly. Forza 3 keeps its predecessor`s system of individual car experience, encouraging the player to stick with a single vehicle by upgrading and tuning it to keep it competitive. The player earns discounts on tuning parts and accessories the longer they stick with a single vehicle, and being able to swap out engines, drivetrains and engine aspiration systems goes a long way in keeping even the most pathetic passenger cars competitive. A clever tuner has a lot of tools to work with in Forza 3, and unlike other racing sims, very rarely will they find themselves totally outclassed. Engine upgrades cover gamut from intakes and exhausts, to displacement increases and fuel system re-mappings. But once again, for players not quite as familiar with tuning, the game offers a Quick Tune option that automatically optimizes your car for a race. With the number of racing sims currently available, it takes more than just car and track selection and good physics to stand out. Forza`s online features and its historically large community are its trump card, easily the best in the racing sim genre. The game puts as big a focus on tuning and customizing as it does racing, and there`s an abundance of tools and options for the creative player. Forza 3 actually puts effort into stressing its extra features, and gamers might be surprised to find themselves spending as much time fiddling with vinyl designs, taking photos, making videos and tuning their cars as they are actually racing.

The Pogoplug is the size of large AC adapter. It has Ethernet and USB ports; and instead of using built-in hard drives for storage, you provide your own USB-based drive, such as an external USB hard drive or USB thumb drive. The Pogoplug should be accessible over a network connection by any device with a built-in Web browser; but CloudEngines also offers free client apps for accessing the Pogoplug directly from within Windows XP and Vista (32 and 64-bit), the Mac OS, and Linux (32 and 64-bit–albeit, the Linux versions are presently in beta), where the Pogoplug simply appears as connected drive. CloudEngines even has a free iPhone app for accessing the Pogoplug on your iPhone or iPod touch. Best of all, the Pogoplug sells for only 99–which is a great price for a NAS device–assuming, of course, that you already have a USB drive to attach to it (and don`t also have to purchase a new USB drive).
One feature that you will surely fal for is the ability for it to automatically copy photos, videos, music and other files from your computer to your Pogoplug. The software then automatically syncs those folders when you are connected so you`ve always got a backup copy to share. You can search all the drives at once to find the file you are looking for and the fact that any movie files are automatically dumped in the movie section is a great time saver.With the iPhone and Desktop apps more for accessing content, settings and other options are managed through the simple to use website. Logging in gets you to you`re my.pogoplug.com interface allowing you to manage sharing options and the drives you have got connected.

Carl Fredrickson, a little boy and a dreamer who idolizes the adventurer Charles Munts. When he meets Ellie, who also worships Munts, they become close friends. However Charles Munts falls into disgrace, accused of forging the skeleton of the monster of Paradise Falls. He travels in his blimp to South America to bring the monster back alive but is never seen again. Eventually he Carl grows up and marries Ellie. They promise each other that they would travel together to Paradise Falls and build a house there. Many years later, Ellie dies and Carl, who`s lonely, refuses to move from their house despite the offers of the owner of a construction company. When Carl accidentally hits a worker that damaged his mailbox, he is sentenced to move to a retirement home. However, he uses many balloons to float his house in order to travel to Paradise Falls. Adventure ensues.
The characterisation is admirable too. In other films the urge to go all Al Gore would have made the developers into monstrous bad guys, but here they’re just here to push the plot on. Carl and Russell themselves manage to be human and cartoons at the same time, part caricature, but equally identifiable. It’s the fine balancing of the elements that keeps it on solid ground even when it takes flight.

The Sony Ericsson MW600 is a bluetooth “headset” that streams audiophile-grade audio from your phone or A2DP device. This small AA-battery-sized device incorporates a microphone for voice-activated commands, an AM/FM radio, and a small OLED display. There is no other Bluetooth device on the market quite like the MW600. Essentially, it will turn any pair of standard 3.5mm headphones into Bluetooth headphones, which can make calls and stream music without touching your phone. It can also turn any pair of speakers into Bluetooth speakers, allowing you to control the music. Pairing is simple and quick – when you turn the device on it`ll automatically start searching. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone – or any other A2DP device, and you should spot MW600 in the list of things to connect to. Select it, and you should be paired – it`s that easy. Once you`re paired, plug in your favourite pair of headphones and you`re good to go. A microphone on the device itself will allow you to chat away to anyone on the phone, and you`ll look like you`re an insane person, talking to yourself, when you`re walking down the street. If you`ve got a Sony Ericsson phone, you`ll be able to send song info to the screen of the device, but most smartphones should also allow you to skip tracks and do voice commands too, albeit with a little bit of delay between you pressing the button and it actually carrying out the action. Holding down the play button brings you to a menu where you can also select to listen to AM or FM radio through the device. We found the navigation to be exceptionally fiddly, but it`s something you`ll get used to in time. Just don`t expect to be able to hand it to your mother and expect her to use it off the bat.

The LaCie LaCinema Mini HD is a multimedia hard drive with Wi-Fi connectivity and numerous features. The high definition media center allows owners to watch and store media in full HD with a 500 GB internal hard drive. In order to enhance the experience, the Wi-Fi connectivity allows individuals to stream media from computers and mobile devices, letting them enjoy their personal collection of music and movies. By using Wuala technology, users can also backup their backups without any difficulties. The compact multimedia hard drive also has a HDMI output, a USB socket and has the ability to play DivX, MKV and AVC files. The Mini HD sports the latest standards in HDMI 1.3 and 802.11 b/g/n wireless, and complements this with standard Composite connections, an Ethernet port for wired networking and digital optical out. Een after array of technology into such a small enclosure, the Mini HD isn’t without its faults. Large collections of files, particularly video, can be difficult to browse due to the fact that the “folder” view is simply an amalgamation of all folders that are shared over a network. This isn’t really an issue with audio as the presence of artist/album/genre categories is far more straightforward to manage, but digital photos are similarly tricky to browse when collections reach into the hundreds. The presence of a text search option does make this more manageable, though the supplied remote control is rather basic and omits a numeric keypad, making navigating the on-screen keyboard a laborious task. It is a commendable entry into the streamer market and is extremely well specked for a device of this size.

One For All has launched a powerful new Full HD indoor aerial. The SV9380 aerial is targeted at the owners of the 12 million TV sets that still receive analogue terrestrial broadcasts, as well as offering crystal clear pictures to those who can receive HDTV via Freeview. The first technical transmissions of Freeview HD began in early December and 50% of the country should be covered by the 2010 World Cup.TV reception in the UK is gradually being replaced by a digital signal and by 2012 the analogue signal will be switched off. It will receive terrestrial broadcast high-definition signals, if you happen to live in an area that has them. For UK readers that means you`d need to live within range of a transmitter putting out an HD signal (DVB-T2 or Freeview HD as it will be known) and you have to have a receiver box capable of decoding that HD signal, which are only just starting to appear. Rooftop aerials over ten years old may have corroded, especially in seaside locations, or they may be pointing in the wrong direction. The SV9380 isn`t your typical coat hanger on a pole style of aerial. Instead it is flat, black and plastic and stands on an aluminium base which keeps it vertical . Around the back are the two connections – the coax socket to connect it to your tuner and a power socket. The SV9380 can be powered either by your set top box or the powerpack supplied, depending on your setup. It boasts both signal amplification and interference reduction, aiming to provide a clean clear signal to your TV. With a weak analogue signal you just get progressively worse reception, whereas with digital it may mean you simply can’t watch TV at all – there’s no halfway house of poor digital frequency. The One For All amplified indoor antenna gives perfect reception of Full HD television, DVB-T television and DAB radio.

The Optio I-10 offers a wide range of advanced features, including a high-performance wide-to-telephoto 5X optical zoom lens, approximately 12.1 effective megapixel CCD, high-quality HD movie recording, and upgraded Face Detection function that can detect even the faces of dogs and cats, in a compact body that has the look of a mini-SLR camera. The Optio I-10 features a new-generation Face Detection AF & AE function, which instantly and accurately detects up to 32 faces in the image field, then catches them in sharp focus and in optimum exposure in just 0.03 seconds. In addition to popular features such as the innovative Small Face filter, this upgraded version is programmed to detect not only human faces, but also the faces of dogs and cats. When the user selects pre-registered dog or cat faces (up to three choices), the camera automatically recognizes them and optimizes focus and exposure. The user can even program the camera to automatically release the shutter the moment the subject’s face turns straight toward the camera. These features make it simple and effortless to capture delightful faces of active pets. Despite its compact dimensions, the Optio I-10 features a 5X optical zoom lens, covering focal lengths from 5.1mm to 25.5mm (equivalent to approximately 28mm wide angle to 140mm telephoto in 35mm format). This wide zoom range can easily handle a wide variety of subjects and scenes, from breathtaking landscapes, majestic architecture and group shots in a confined space, to tightly cropped photos shot from a distance. When coupled with the Intelligent and Digital Zoom functions, which allow even tighter zooming in on the subject, the zoom range can be extended to approximately 31.3 times. Above the lens is the flash (rather than to the side) and whether it`s down to the handgrip or the mottled pattern layered over the camera, Pentax has successfully carried off the look they were after. Old meets new has been finely balanced. As for connections, there isn`t HDMI or a dedicated TV out, although a USB cable in the box will allow you to output to a TV via NTSC or PAL. The battery and SD card slot can be found on the bottom. It`s a slide and lock mechanism that won`t give you any problems and should hold up to the test of time.

It is rather an expensive pair of cans with an impressive range of up to 30 meters.Experience the sounds of Azeroth and beyond like never before with the Sound Blaster World of Warcraft Wireless Headset. The headset features cutting-edge uncompressed wireless audio technology .Communicate with your party or raid clearlyYou can even declare your staunch allegiance with the interchangeable headset lenses bearing the marks of your chosen faction and 16 million programmable color illumination options. Get ready to be blown away by the amazing realism from unrivaled headphone surround and gaming sound enhancement technologies. At first glance the headphones may seems to be smaller than you have imagined, and this may be an issue for some as they are far more likely to simply perch on top of the ear rather than fit snugly over them. Despite this they are quite comfortable due to the soft padded cups and adjustable headband, though they are still prone to slipping during quick head movements. Audio quality is very good however, and though it can occasionally struggle with deep, reverberating bass, it generally does a good job of lighter, punchier notes. Mid-range and high-end tones are handled very well with a variety of music and some modern games, you will also be pleased with their performance and ability to eliminate background noise. Unfortunately they do get quite warm in quite a short time, and you may feel the need to give your ears a break (and a chance to cool down) after just 30 minutes of use.

This platform plays music from iPod or iPhone and simultaneously recharge the device, like the old Sharp models. The AP8P-DK.1-channel speakersower speakers Bass reflex range with HDSS (high-definition sound standard) sound technology and EsounD digital signal processing. These units also include a video output for connection to a TV for video and image playback. 3.5mm stereo input, of course, is available.The Sharp DK-AP8P comes with a touchscreen wireless IR remote control that uses magnetic cover when not in use, while the DK-AP7P folds closed – protect the units from damage during trip. The thing that really sets the DK-AP8P apart is the pull-off front. This is held in place magnetically on the front of the unit and when in place fits neatly into the simple but elegant design. The entire unit is constructed from gloss “piano black” plastic, so is prone to finger printing, but it looks smart enough. The problem is that the menu “up” and “down” are set on the horizontal, rather than vertical, It would have been more friendly to align them vertically so the up control was at the top, the down at the bottom. You also can`t skip up and down menus by pressing and holding the menu nav buttons, so it means a lot of pressing if you have a long list to get through, so it can be a little slow. The audio quality is surprisingly good considering the size of the DK-AP8P. The stereo speakers are well supported by the bass port that adds depth often missing from iPod docks of this ilk. It won`t survive higher volumes and as you get towards the top of the volume range you`ll find that distortion creeps in and the bass drops out, but kept in the middle of the volume range, it`s nicely balanced sound, perfect for smaller rooms.
Overall you will be impressed with the DK-AP8P. Many portable iPod docks suffer because the sound quality is poor and Sharp have got it right with this model. The sound quality is good, the design is good and the detachable remote front has a touch of class.

The camera is very similar to the Coolpix S640 packing 12 megapixels of resolution, a 5X optical zoom lens (sans optical image stabilization), point-and-shoot operation and VGA movie mode. the Coolpix S570 weighs a touch heavier and is very slightly larger than its image stabilization equipped sibling, the S640. Still, the Nikon Coolpix S570 is still a fairly small camera (more compact than most cameras in its class) and is very portable; you can bring it almost anywhere with you. It certainly boasts a high ISO setting if ISO 32,000 at full resolution. However in practice, shooting at anything over ISO 400 the noise becomes visible and over 800, it`s very intrusive, so shooting in low light at higher ISOs is possible, but you may not like what you see in the resulting images.In terms of overall performance, the camera is also lacking some pizzazz. It`s pretty slow to focus in all modes other than with the fixed, central AF point in use – face AF, manual and auto zone AF selection are all very slow to lock on, and even then they don`t always get it right. Switching to that central AF zone provides faster AF service but then of course you`ll need to factor-in decomposition of off-centre subjects. There are also four electronic VR (Vibration Reduction) image “stabilisation” modes via a motion detection system that automatically controls shutter and ISO settings. But here issues with image noise can become a problem as you lack control over the ISO. The Quick Retouch modeworks rather well at improving the balance of contrast and saturation in images you`ve taken. It`s simple to use and can add a touch of sparkle to some shots taken on, say, cloudy or dull days. The two sections of the lens`s slide-away protector, which should cover the lens when the camera is off, occasionally got stuck as the camera switched on, and that seems a little problematic as you may have to fiddle in order to get the darn thing open.
In the box

The Nikon Coolpix S570 comes with an average bunch of box contents:
* EN-EL10 Rechargeable lithium-ion battery
* Battery charger
* Wrist strap
* USB cable
* A/V cables
* Camera software CD
* User’s manual

The Y-cam Knight SD is a compact home security camera with internal recording designed for night-time surveillance. With 30 infrared LEDs the Y-cam Knight SD can provide clear images even in complete darkness with a range of up to 15m. The built in microphone provides sound as well as images making it ideal for use as a baby monitor. With a Micro SD card slot the Y-cam Knight can provide up to 8GB of internal storage eliminating the need to have a running PC to capture surveillance footage. All recordings can then be easily accessed and viewed locally or over the Internet with a web browser. With built-in wireless connectivity the Y-cam Knight SD is simple and cost effective to install without the need for a physical network connection. Like all IP cameras available from Network Webcams, the Y-cam Knight SD IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam. Setting it up is incredibly easy with you first connecting it to your router, whizzing through the set-up wizard and then disconnecting the wires so you can place it where you want as long as there is power to plug it in. This camera has certain issues with the colour recording but is good as long as you need it for just surveillance. If you are looking to hear what people are saying then you can do so as well with a built-in mic option and the camera picks up audio just as well as the images. Accessing the video on your phone is possible, however due to Flash limitations on the iPhone you don`t get audio with video, just video. That of course doesn`t affect other handsets like your average BlackBerry.

The MacBook(white) is currently the only MAC notebook that has the plastic body, the rest of the MacBook Range has been upgraded to aluminium body. This very feature makes it cost lesser as compared to rest of the series. When compared to the lower range models of MacBook Pro it shines because it comes for lesser price on the exactly same configuration. Since the white plastic body of MAC books are very much up to people`s anticipation the company has made the obvious choice of fitting this. The white plastic is not prone to finger prints as the black counterparts but on the other hand it gets scratched very easily and these scratches can make your notebook look cheap. Down the right-hand side you get the slot-loading 8x SuperDrive, down the left-hand side you get the physical connections: power, Gigabit Ethernet, Mini DisplayPort, 2x USB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and a Kensington lock slot. Missing from the Pro models is the SD card slot and there is no sign of FireWire or IR. Internally Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth come as standard. The curves are still the best beauty feature of this notebook. The closed lid fits absolutely fine making it look great and the compact dimensions are 33.03 x 23.17 x 2.74cm with a weight of 2.13Kgs and that may not make it the best when comes to portability but is better then many of the rest. The underside of the MacBook loses the little rubber feet, instead offering a single-piece rubberized bottom which realistically provides better friction on surfaces than those four rubber feet ever did. This model of MacBook doesn`t have an interchangeable battery either. you get the isolated keyboard, which is very comfortable to type on. The plastic body it is set in doesn`t offer the support that the aluminium bodies do higher up the scale and we noticed some flex towards the right-hand side of the keyboard, although this doesn`t seem to alter the typing experience overall. You don`t get the option of backlighting like you do in the MacBook Pro. Beneath the keyboard is the glass trackpad, which is as excellent as ever. 13.3-inch screen offers up a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, which in a 13-inch panel is sharp enough. Brightness levels are goodwith direct brightness control on the keyboard meaning you can simply and easily change the brightness to suit your environment, or to prolong your battery or deny your neighbour a glimpse at what you are typing. The finish on the screen is glossy, which is great for watching movies, but not so suited to working on the move where reflections might be a problem. Maximum brightness will deal with all but the strongest sunlight, accepting that it will drain your battery just that little bit faster.

The PosiMotion G-Fi is more than a small black box with three lights on top of it, it is a device that is capable of turning your wi-fi enabled device into a full fledged GPS device. This Network Router is powered by an in built rechargeable battery. Once connected with your Wi-fi device it shares its GPS signal allowing you to either boost or provide a GPS signal to anything you want such as the iPod touch, Apple iPad or your laptop. The operation of this device is as easy as it sounds to be, as it founds the GPS signals almost instantly. Once connected, you can then run GPS software or geotag photos and beyond it just working straight out of the box, there isn`t much to the unit.

It is the company`s first handset that runs on its new Bada platform. Bada will mean developers can create applications for millions of new Samsung mobile phones. The name bada means ocean in Korean and was said to be chosen “to convey the limitless variety of potential applications which can be created using the new platform”. Samsung says bada is simple for developers to use – “one of the most developer-friendly environments available”. The new Super AMOLED display is staggeringly sharp, with bags of contrast and deep blacks that really give your content definition. It has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, which on a 3.3-inch screen is very impressive. The display also offers wide viewing angles and isn`t prone to the high degree of reflections that some screens are. It incorporates some of the technology that Samsung are putting into their televisions. It certainly sets the bar high for others to follow. The phone has all the necessary connectivity options like HSDPA/CDMA, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, digital compass, motion sensor and proximity sensors. This all sits on a 1GHz processor, making this a fully-fledged smartphone with some real power. That processor and sharp screen means video content looks sensational and watching HD content at 720p poses it no problems. Format support looks good on paper too, with MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, Divx and XviD so it look like a mobile entertainment centre. There are all sorts of applications and features that are loaded into the device, with Samsung providing the framework for more.

Like the Nexus One HTC Legend is crafted out of a single block of aluminium that makes it much lighter than the Hero. It also feels better in the hand and is smaller. Since it`s made from one single piece of metal, rather than the frame and body being separate, it can up upscaled and downscaled easily. In terms of hardware, the Legend looks pretty similar to the Hero, except in place of the trackball there`s an optical mouse. The truth is that you might find you never use it because with such a good touch response from the screen you rarely need to. The HTC Legend runs Android 2.1, the latest version of Google`s OS, something that will please the fans. The 3.2-inch AMOLED screen is capacitive, naturally. It`s also super-responsive, as you`d expect from HTC. The camera uses a 5-megapixel sensor, and an LED flash. Although we didn`t get to test the camera stringently, we assume it`ll be on par with that of the Nexus One. HTC has clearly been working hard on its imaging functions, but we`d still like a xenon flash, or dual-LED, despite HTC claiming dual LED is too bright. HTC Sense`s refinements mean Legend is a more comprehensive offering, a step forward, but definitely heading in the same direction. Some of the updates will be coming to the Hero too, but it depends on territory, carrier and so on.

This Soundbar has been designed to compel with the screen sizes of 40″ to 42″. The promise of Yamaha`s age old quality goes good with this product too. You will surely be getting loud, clear, and rich audio that sounds like it`s coming from all around you. The soundbar produces 7.1 channel effect by bouncing the sound waves on the walls. If you feel that the BASS is less than you expected then this product is supplied with an optional sub-woofer port. There`s also an automatic calibration system that measures beam angles, levels and frequency response to deliver what it reckons is the best sound for your particular room. There`s also 11 different DSP programmes – three for movies, three for music and five for “entertainment”, so these automatic settings are more than enough for any type of music that you want to listen.

This new camera Offers DSLR-like image quality in an ultra-compact format, the E-P2 adds a number of features to tempt you to upgrade from the E-P1. These include a dedicated port for either a detachable high-resolution electronic viewfinder or a microphone, auto-focus tracking mode, two new Art Filters (Diorama and Cross Process), a colour-boosting i-Enhance function, remote slideshow control via the new HDMI connection, and an option to record high-definition movies using the Manual shooting mode. The Olympus E-P2 is also finished in a more serious black rather than the silver or white versions of the E-P1. Other core features remain the same as the E-P1, including a 12.3 megapixel DSLR sensor, built-in image stabilisation, ISO speeds up to 6400, RAW format support, HD 720p quality video with continuous auto-focus, a 3 inch LCD screen, 3fps continuous shooting, and a Supersonic Wave Filter dust reduction system. Shooting modes on the dial sitting on the left-hand shoulder include i-Auto, aperture priority, shutter priority, manual, scene (with 19 presets on offer), video (offering 16:9 HD 720p capture at 30fps as AVI Motion JPEG), and finally Olympus` Art Filter setting. The Art Filters see the addition of two extra options over the E-P1: Diorama and Cross Process. We like the Art Filters. Some might see them as a little gimmicky, but they are easy to access and can create some dramatic effects that would otherwise involve fiddling with a lot of settings, or some post-processing back at your PC. You can also apply Art Filters to an image you`ve already taken. The downside is that when shooting with a Filter on, image processing does slow things down.

The Bioshock series is already one of the best known games available in the market. This is the the collector sequel to the game Bio Shock -2. This game has won 50 year of the game awards and has sold more than 2.5 million units worldwide. BioShock 2 provides players with the perfect blend of explosive First Person Shooter combat and compelling storytelling to form one of 2009’s most highly anticipated titles. The game as a whole may not be able to climb the heights that the previous versions did but the extremely interesting screenplay and improved graphics makes it a worthy sequel of game.
* Evolution of the Genetically Enhanced Shooter: Visceral combat reaches new levels of exhilaration. New elements, such as the ability to dual-wield weapons and new plasmids, bring new depth and dimension to each encounter.
* Return to Rapture: Set 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the story continues with a deeper, more intense journey through one of the most captivating and terrifying fictional worlds ever created.
* You Are the Big Daddy: Take control of BioShock’s signature and iconic symbol and experience the power and raw strength of Rapture’s most feared denizens as you battle powerful new enemies.
* Introducing the Big Sister: An evolution and hybrid of the most iconic characters in BioShock. She combines the powers the Big Daddy and the Little Sister, making her a fearsome, brutal antagonist.
* Continuation of the Award-Winning Narrative: New and unique storytelling devices serve as the vehicle for the continuation of one of gaming’s most unique and acclaimed storylines.
* Underwater Exploration Changes the Landscape: For the first time, explore the ocean floor and experience life outside of Rapture.
* Multiplayer: The addition of exhilarating multiplayer! The most anticipated new feature, as requested by feedback from our fans and and extensive brand research.

The GW620 does bear some traits that highlight its budget origins. The first is its resistive touchscreen. For more on the differences between the touchscreen technologies check out our feature on the subject, but to sum up touchscreen navigation requires a press rather than a light touch. That the GW620 does not feature a stylus suggests that this is a budgeting issue rather than a design choice. For a resistive touchscreen, it’s commendably responsive but still a cut below the capacitive model used in the T-Mobile Pulse. The second obvious cut corner of the LG GW620 is its screen size. At 3-inches, the screen is smaller than almost all other Android phones currently hanging around your local phone shop – although not by all that much. If you are not planning to watch movies regularly on your mobile, the GW620’s screen is more than adequate. And it uses the resolution as top smartphones like the HTC Hero and iPhone. The OS has no modifications then the previous versions of Android Series. This Smartphone leaves you with some very less desirable objects like a bit more from the video capture, a better resolution and more responsiveness. There is predictive text entry, which is great for ironing out mistakes, although if you key the wrong things, you`ll have to press the correct suggestion to input that word. The same predictive text system works for both the QWERTY keyboard and the T9 onscreen keyboard and once you get to know how to use it, it can save you plenty of time.

3G

The GW620 features 3G which stands for third generation, and the system is the third generation in the evolution of mobile networks, after analogue and GSM. 3G offers high speed data transfers and the ability to make video calls between compatible mobile phones.

HSDPA

HSDPA offers a similar benefit to a 3G network that GPRS offered to the GSM networks. It offers a higher speed data transfer with a compatible handset. HSDPA is often referred to as Mobile Broadband.

Wi-Fi

With Wi-Fi you can use your LG phone to connect to a local wireless network (W-LAN) to connect to the internet. This offers a cheap (sometimes free) method of connecting to the net to download emails, files, or check on your favourite website.

GPS

With built in GPS you can use the GW620 to locate your position, plan your journey, and as a general SatNav device, when used in conjunction with compatible mapping software.

Web Browser

With a built in Web Browser you can access internet sites directly from your handset. Check the latest scores, look up train times, get a weather report, or find the answer to the question in the pub quiz. With the inbuilt web browser you have the power of the internet with you, wherever you are.

5.0 Megapixel Camera

Thanks to a built in 5.0 megapixel camera, with auto focus, the LG Android phone takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog or favourite photo sharing site such as Flickr.

Bluetooth v2.0

Thanks to Bluetooth wireless technology, data transmission is quick and easy. And what`s more, with Bluetooth wireless printing, sending images or documents to a compatible printer is child`s play wherever you are, allowing you to produce quality printouts effortlessly.

Music Player

With a built in music player, you can carry your tunes with you, in your pocket, and listen to them when you want. Most digital formats are recognised on the phone, including MP3 and AAC.

The Camileo S20 looks stylish and comes in a choice of four colours – pink, red, silver and black. It’s a super-slim model measuring 59 x 106 x 17mm and weighing around 120g with battery and card. Within its compact body is a 5Mp 1/2.5in CMOS chip, f/3.2 fixed focus lens, 4x digital zoom, video light and the ability to record Full HD (1920 x 1080/30p) video, as well as 720/30p HD, WVGA and VGA video. In both the video and photo modes, you can select from seven scene options. The video mode also has several effects: time lapse, slow motion, digital stabilisation and motion detection. There are also four white balance settings for photo and video modes, plus two selectable ISO speeds (800 and 1600) for still photo shooting. The Camileo S20 comes with a superb set of accessories. As well as the usual battery, charger, AV and USB cables, you also get an HDMI cable, mini tripod, UK and Euro plug adapters, cleaning cloth and pouch. One Can neglect the internal storage capacity because it is just 128Mb giving you a recording of 5 seconds on the HD mode. The menus throw up some surprising treats. You get recording options which offer FHD (1920 x 1080) or HD (1280 x 720) at 30fps, WVGA (848 x 480) at 60fps or VGA (640 x 480). WVGA is better for fast moving subjects, although the quality at HD is more impressive. There is a noticeable delay in registering the SD card. We used a 4GB SDHC card (class 6) and found an 8 second delay before the S20 would register the card and let us start recording. The same applies to playback. The video is captured as AVI files, this format is a very commonly used one nowadays. In good light the headline Full HD resolution captures a fair amount of detail and respectable colour, but things rapidly drop off as the light dims. Indoors in daylight gives very noisy results and for low level shots you get very little to look at. This applies across the range or resolutions, so if you want to capture your mates doing stupid things in the pub, this won`t serve you well. The mic is a bit more exposed that makes it suffer from the recording of unwanted environmental noises. The High Definition recording lacks the desired/expected sharpness of the videos.

The Canon IXUS 210 is the most advanced touch screen IXUS to date. By using large and easy-to-press on-screen icons while shooting, users can swiftly access commonly-used camera functions, while a simple-to-navigate touch menu system aids swift access to other camera settings. Touch AF allows the user to focus on their subject by simply ‘touching’ it on the screen. If the subject is moving, the camera’s integrated Servo AF/AE will automatically track it, maintaining both focus and exposure for the perfect shot. Browsing images is also made easy and natural by enabling users to simply drag their finger across the screen and the camera will match the speed of image review with the speed of the gesture made on-screen. “Touch Actions” allow users to match gestures made on-screen to commonly used functions, such as tagging images as favourites or erasing, rotating, or protecting images in their collection. The colour theme and on-screen icon layout can be customised on the Canon Digital IXUS 210 – allowing users to tailor the interface to suit their preference and style. On-screen Hints and Tips also guide users through the camera’s functions, helping them to understand how and when to use each one to capture the perfect image. A large, high-resolution, 8.8cm (3.5”) PureColor II Touch LCD screen offers plenty of space for users to easily navigate the finger-friendly touch interface. With wide colour reproduction and high contrast, users can also enjoy their images in rich colour from almost any angle. Active Display now allows users to browse through their images by simply tapping the sides of the camera, introducing a new dimension to sharing content on the camera with friends and family.

How Far Will You Go To Save Someone You Love? Experience a gripping psychological thriller filled with innumerable twists and turns, where choices and actions can result in dramatic consequences. Spanning four days of mystery and suspense, the hunt is on for a murderer known only as the Origami Killer – named after his macabre calling card of leaving behind folded paper shapes at crime scenes. Four characters, each following their own leads and with their own motives, must take part in a desperate attempt to prevent the killer from claiming a new victim. It is a video game developed by Quantic Dream exclusively for the PlayStation 3.The game is directed by Quantic Dream`s founder and CEO David Cage, who also wrote and directed the studio`s two previous games, Omikron: The Nomad Soul and Fahrenheit.
CHARACTERS
* Ethan Mars: Played by French actor Pascal Langdale. Mars is a young architect living on the east coast of America. In 2008, he lost his eldest son in a car accident that left him in a coma. Once a successful and happy family man, Ethan is now grief-stricken and depressed two years later, separated from his wife and distant from his other son, Shaun. Still suffering from the after-effects of the accident, Ethan is thrown into a nightmare when he discovers that Shaun may become the next victim of the Origami Killer. He will be forced to confront just how far he is prepared to go to rescue his son, and in doing so, he may be able to finally find redemption from the guilt and grief he feels.

    * Madison Paige: Played by model Jacqui Ainsley, voice and facial motion capture by actress Judi Beecher. A twenty-seven-year-old journalist living alone in the city. Suffering from crippling insomnia and nightmares, she often finds herself checking into local motels for the night – seemingly the only place she can rest and relax. Though she has no apparent connection with the Origami Killer case, she will soon find herself unexpectedly drawn into the investigation. When she does, she will show courage and commitment, placing herself in great danger to find out the truth.

    * Norman Jayden: Portrayed by British actor Leon Ockenden. Jayden is a dedicated and thorough FBI profiler sent into this unfamiliar city to support the police force with their investigation into the Origami Killer. Jayden specializes in using an experimental device called ARI, short for “Added Reality Interface,” which allows him to investigate crime scenes and analyze evidence in a unique way. With the local cops resentful of both his methods and his very presence, he struggles urgently to piece together the evidence before the Origami Killer claims another victim. He is also struggling with an addiction to a drug called triptocaine as well as connecting to reality due to his constant use of the ARI.

    * Scott Shelby, played by actor Sam Douglas. A forty-eight year-old cop-turned-private investigator after twenty years with the local police department. Two decades on the streets have left him tough and cynical, but despite his sometimes hard demeanor, he has a sense of honor and compassion that shines through under pressure. Shelby is now conducting a parallel investigation into the Origami Killer case, searching for clues and leads that the authorities may have missed.

This is the product that you might have seen advertised by a picture of a man hanging out of the window to use his mobile phone.The Vodafone Sure Signal (formerly know as Access Gateway) is basically a very small 3G cell site (femtocell for the technically minded).
Femtocells as a technology have far more exciting possibilities beyond making sure you get a decent signal, however with such a radical technology it`s clear that Vodafone don`t want to confuse too many from the start. Services and features that the technology can offer include detecting when a phone comes home, for example pinging you a message (handy for tracking the kids), or the ability to have your phone upload or sync information with your social networking sites. It could also lead to possibly cheaper calls when you`re at home compared to when you are out and about.
It plugs into your broadband router and then operates as a mini cell site for your house allowing only the phones (up to 32) that you register to use the cell. Up to 4 phones can use the cell at any one time and it works for both voice and data. This is an excellent and extremly useful product and good value for money at this price.

Casio has unleashed its “tough-man”, a rugged, take anywhere, compact model known modestly as the G1. This tough looking camera is ready for any adventure and according to Casio it can take a licking and keep on clicking. Casio claims that the new G1 is waterproof, dust proof, freezeproof and shock resistant (at 7ft.). They are calling it their “Endurance” camera. picture quality has always been an issue with this type of camera. Even the best of the bunch thus far took shots with a slightly grainy, flat quality to them―passable, but with plenty of room for improvement.
It`s actually a pretty slick package. It`s surprisingly small – not ultra-compact, but at just 0.78 inches thick, it`s the thinnest, most diminutive of these “tough guy” models so far. You need two hands because there`s otherwise not really anything on this camera to get a firm hold on, save for a narrow ridge on the camera`s smooth-fashioned faceplate. So camera shake, and blurred shots as a result, is a danger. There`s the option of course to manually boost ISO via an on-screen toolbar, and here the light sensitivity range starts lower than most at ISO 64 and continues incrementally up to a maximum ISO 3200.
G1 actually manages to take some really decent shots. The shots aren`t exactly gallery-quality, but they are brighter, clearer, and more vibrant than any other digital camera of the same class. With a press of the small power button located on the top plate, its rough, ridged surface allowing for operation with wet fingers, but not anyone wearing ski gloves, the EX-G1 readies itself for action in just under 2 seconds, rear 2.5-inch screen fading up from black for shot composition and review in absence of an optical viewfinder.

The HTC HD mini smartphone utilises HTC Sense, a user experience focused on putting people at the centre by making the cell phone work in a more simple and natural way. This experience revolves around three fundamental principles that were developed by observing and listening to how people live and communicate. These core tenets of Make It Mine, Stay Close and Discover the Unexpected continue to be the key to the new HTC Sense experience. You get a great looking black handset with what appears to be a rubberised backplate and a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen on the front. the HTC HD mini handset continues the same focus on people-centric communication with complete Outlook integration. It helps you stay close to the important friends and colleagues in your life by providing a single contact view that displays individual communication snapshots of your conversations, regardless of whether it was a call, text, status update or email. HTC’s Windows-based Twitter application, HTC Peep, enables you to tweet and follow your twitter stream.
The Technological Advancements include the usual array of GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, microSD, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio and of course a Qualcomm chip inside – this time a MSM7227 with a 600MHz processor. There`s a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash around the back for good measure.

The new Motorola Quench Smartphone runs on the Google Android Operating System. It is not yet clear which version, but we expect that the Quench smartphone runs or will run on Android OS 2.1. The Motorola Quench also sports the well-known MotoBlur, Motorola’s own social network service (Facebook, Twitter and MySpace), added to Android. Its operation is fairly fast and quite intuitive. The buttons under the display of the Motorola Quench handset are not very comfortable to use. They are a bit hard to push, and that is a detail that a manufacturer should want to avoid. The Motorola Quench’s reaction time is fast and the touch screen reacts as expected. Motorola Quench smartphone is a middle segment cell phone, beneath the screen you get the usual four controls for home, menu, search and back. These sit either-side of a central four-way controller. We didn`t find any problem with the buttons, they are easy enough to hit when you need them and need a firm enough press to prevent accidental operation. You get a 5-megapixel autofocus camera around the back with an LED flash; video capture is present, but doesn`t step into the realms of HD, offering HVGA at 24fps.

there`s a new 10 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, an enhanced noise reduction algorithm borrowed from the GR Digital III, and a 3-inch 920k-dot LCD, while the 10.7x optical zoom lens (28-300mm in 35mm equivalence) is carried over from the CX2. 720p video recording — fast becoming a standard feature in compact cameras — is present and accounted for, with recording in 16:9 ratio available to the ubiquitous Motion JPEG format. With a press of the small-ish power button recessed into the top plate the camera powers up in around 2 seconds, lens barrel extending from storage within the body to its maximum wide angle setting ready for the first shot. It Supports Continuous shooting at five frames per second at maximum resolution is also offered; again this betters entry-level DSLRs, and there are further resolution shaving high-speed options of up to a crazy 120 consecutive images per second, saved as a single file, if the need ever presents itself.
