The new Dell Inspiron 1564, Not only is it the successor to the popular Insprion 1545, it is also the first Intel Core i3 branded laptop we’ve seen.
The machine looks great, and its shiny black lid is complemented by a mock brushed aluminium chassis that gives the machine a premium look and feel – both are quick to attract fingerprints, although easy to clean.
The 15.6-inch screen is bright and offers good colour reproduction, but despite an acceptable 1366 x 768 pixel resolution the panel isn’t that sharp, which is a little disappointing.
The keyboard provides a decent enough typing action, but is fairly flexible and rattles quite a bit. A dedicated number pad has been crammed in – which will appeal to those who regularly input numerical data.
As mentioned above, the Inspiron 1564 is the first machine with Core i3 branding we’ve reviewed. Core i3 represents the lower end of Intel’s next generation processing technology and – after initial testing – we were extremely impressed by the power on offer for the money. It blows away competition from Intel`s older Core 2 Duo processor technology, making it an entry level machine you’ll be able to run surprisingly powerful applications on.
Elsewhere there’s an integrated Intel GPU providing limited graphical performance, 802.11g Wi-Fi and also VGA and HDMI out ports giving you versatile connectivity to external monitors.

Introduction
Heavy Rain is a PlayStation 3 video game developed by Quantic Dream. The game is directed by Quantic Dream`s founder and CEO David Cage,[12] who also wrote and directed the studio`s two previous games, Omikron: The Nomad Soul and Fahrenheit. A playable demo was released on 11 February 2010. The demo was already released prior to this date, to those people who took part in the Four Day Challenge. Details about the plot of Heavy Rain remain scarce. Director David Cage has stated that Heavy Rain would be “a very dark film noir thriller with mature themes”, without any supernatural elements, and that “the real message of the game is about how far you`re willing to go to save someone you love.”

GamePlay
According to a demonstration given to Edge magazine, the game will use a unique control scheme. A trigger button on the PlayStation 3 controller will move the character forward. It will take advantage of the button`s analogue function, allowing the user to control the speed of the character`s movement by pressing harder or softer on the button. The left analogue stick will control the movement of the character`s head and the direction the character moves in relation to where the character is looking. David Cage explains that this frees the movement of the character from the perspective of the camera. The rest of the game is played using a series of context sensitive actions such as picking up a bottle in a grocery store and hitting a robber on the head with it or pressing the “X” button to call the player character`s son, Jason, and quick time events, normally for chase and combat sequences. Players are able to bring up a selection of their character`s current thoughts by holding the L2 button and pressing corresponding buttons to say or do what they`re thinking. These thoughts will sometimes blur, and selecting them at the wrong time will affect the character`s reaction, causing them to say or do something in the wrong way.
Action sequences, such as when the player is being attacked, will be played out as quick time events. Players will be presented with various symbols, requiring them to either press buttons, move the right analogue stick in a certain way, or shake or tilt the controller. Failure to execute these commands take the story along a different path, and certain mistakes will lead to a character`s death. For example, in one scene, Norman Jayden is interrogating a suspect named Mad Jack when he starts to suffer from withdrawal symptoms and button prompts will show up. If he fails to take his drugs, he will be taken to a scenario in which he will have to escape from a car before it is thrown into a crusher, killing him. In scenes like these, a `timer` scene (a portion of the screen that is devoted to show the player how long he or she has until their time runs out, or another event is scripted to occur, which is shown through several different camera angles) is shown at the bottom of the screen, indicating how long the player has to escape from his predicament.
If a character dies, the game does not end, and play control switches to another character, with the events of the previous character`s death affecting the story.In the event that all four characters die, there is a proper conclusion to the story and the game ends.

After failing to qualify for the 1974 World Cup, England manager Alf Ramsey is sacked and replaced by Don Revie, the highly successful manager of Leeds United. Revie is replaced at Leeds by Brian Clough, a former manager of Derby County and a fierce critic of Leeds`s style of play under Revie. Much attention is called to the fact that Clough`s longtime assistant, Peter Taylor has not joined him at Leeds, and Clough claims in an interview to Yorkshire Television that the team cannot possibly have been happy under Revie, due to the violent and physical nature of their game.
The roots of Clough`s conflict with Revie are depicted as happening in a 1967 FA Cup match between Leeds, who were then leading the First Division (though they did not win it that season) and Derby, who were struggling near the bottom of the Second Division. Clough assumes Revie to be a similar man to himself, owing to the fact that they grew up in the same part of Middlesbrough; come the day of the match however, Revie either ignores Clough or fails to make him out in the crowd upon entering Derby`s Baseball Ground stadium. The match proves to be a tough affair, and despite their best efforts Derby lose 20 to Leeds. Clough initially blames the brutality of the Leeds players, but he and Taylor recognise that their side simply aren`t good enough on a technical level and so remedy the problem by signing veteran Dave Mackay, along with several other young players. The club`s frugal chairman, Sam Longson is extremely anxious about the investment and more so the fact that Clough didn`t bother to consult him about signing Mackay. However, Derby win the Second Division title in 1969, and the following season once more face up to Leeds, the defending First Division champions… and promptly lose 50.
Back in the storyline`s “present,” Clough almost immediately alienates his Leeds players by telling them that they can throw away all their medals and trophies, because “[they] never won any of them fairly.” The season starts with a Charity Shield match against FA Cup winners Liverpool, which is widely anticipated as both the final match of legendary Liverpool manager Bill Shankly and Clough`s first match in charge of Leeds. However, the event is quickly marred when Leeds`s captain, Billy Bremner gets into a violent on-pitch fight with Liverpool player Kevin Keegan, which results in both players being sent off, and in turn causes them to throw their shirts off and walk off the pitch bare-chested in protest. Leeds end up losing the match on penalties, but a more serious consequence is that Bremner is given a two-month suspension from all competitions, meaning that Leeds will have to start the season without their influential captain.
Returning to Clough`s time at Derby, despite his continuing clashes with Longson over spending on players, the club win their first ever League championship in 1972, meaning a European Cup campaign the following year, which eventually sees them reach the semi-finals in a tie versus Juventus. Longson suggests that Clough rest his senior players in the match before; however this happens to be against Leeds, and Clough selects his best squad out of sheer pride and determination to beat Revie. This decision backfires after a particularly crunching match gives Derby a massive injury list. After the match, Bremner approaches Clough and sarcastically tells him “Good luck in Europe.” Juventus quickly send them packing from the European Cup, giving Clough a chance to publicly lambast Longson. Later that year, after Taylor suffers a heart attack, Clough decides to try and secure his position by offering up his and Taylor`s resignations. To his horror however, the club`s board call his bluff and not only terminate their contracts, but ban them from ever setting foot in the Baseball Ground again (although Clough still sneaks into their next match as a supporter anyway). Clough is confident that the board will come to their senses and re-instate him and Taylor, but Dave Mackay is appointed manager instead, and the appointment of the popular former player mollifies the Derby fans and extinguishes any hope Clough has of getting his job back.
Subsequently, he and Taylor are offered jobs as manager and assistant respectively of Brighton & Hove Albion, and they agree to take the jobs after having a holiday in Majorca which Brighton`s chairman pays for. During the holiday however Clough is approached by representatives of Leeds and agrees to take over there. Taylor on the other hand prefers the prospect of Brighton, knowing that whatever Clough achieves at Leeds it will still be with Revie`s team, and after a fierce argument the two go their separate ways, with Clough taking over at Leeds and Taylor becoming Brighton manager.
Without their captain, and also suffering from major differences of opinion with Clough, Leeds suffer a horrendous start to the season and look to be in danger of relegation only one season after winning the title. After Bremner and the players air their grievances to the board, the club decides to terminate Clough`s contract – although not before he forces them to pay a huge severance package.
Afterwards, Clough agrees to do another interview with Yorkshire Television, and this time Revie is there to have his say, bringing the two face to face at last. Clough accuses Revie of being cold-hearted and fundamentally dishonest, both as a person and a football manager, and Revie in turn brands Clough inflexible and egocentric. Clough also brings up the subject of Revie`s failure to acknowledge him in the 1967 FA Cup match, and Revie claims to have not known who exactly the rookie manager was at the time (a doubtful claim considering that Revie was known for meticulously researching every opponent his team faced). After the interview ends, Clough drives down to Brighton to patch things up with Taylor.
In the film`s epilogue, the audience is told that Don Revie proved a complete failure as an England manager, and afterwards never worked in football in his home country again, spending the rest of his career working in the Middle East. Brian Clough and Peter Taylor meanwhile reunited at Nottingham Forest, where he repeated his prior achievements with Derby by taking them up and winning the First Division, and this time bettered both Revie and his own spell at Derby by winning two European Cups in succession. The film ends by branding Clough “the best manager that the English national side never had.”

Nick & His friends, Lori, Janet, & Hunt are watching a race at McKinley speedway. Nick has a vision of a terrible disaster that causes the speedway to collapse and kill everyone. Nick manages to save his friends and a few others as his vision happens.
A few weeks later the survivors go to a memorial of the crash, where Carter Daniels goes to a secriuty guard named George, and calls him a few racist names and tells him he was the cause of his wife`s death. Later that night Carter goes to georges home to burn a cross on his lawn. After a series of events Carter ends up being dragged down Georges street on fire by his pick-up truck. News of this comes to Nick and his friends.
Another survivor, Samantha, and her 2 children, go to a hair salon. While Samantha is in the chair, a ceiling fan falls, a can of hairspray explodes, and she is nearly stabbed in the face by a pair of scissors. This prompts her to leave- as she heads out the door a lawn mower across the street sends a rock flying into her eye; killing her in front of the staff & her children.
This news spreads to Nick & his friends. Nick gathers everyone up in his aparpment and tells them about other people that had visions of disasters, saved themselves, then all died very horribal deaths. Nobody aside from Lori believe him and they all leave. Later that night Lor & Nick go to the speedway in order for Nick to recall the order of how people died in his vision. George the secriuty guard catches them and takes them to his office. Nick & Lori explain themselves & George shows them the tapes from the disaster. Nick remembers a man named Andy died next in his vision.
They go to Andy`s place of buisness- a car garage. They tell Andy about everything but he doesnt believe them. After a series of events, Andy ends up being pushed through a fence, as if he were in a [[Meat Grinder]].
Nick, Lori & George head off to save Hunt & Janet as they are next. Lori & George head to where Janet is- a carwash. Nick goes looking for Hunt at a pool. Janet is in the carwash where after a series of events, her car is full of water and her head is stuck in the sunroof. Hunt, after a series of events, is at the bottom of a pool thats being drained. His body is plugging the hole thats draining the pool. Lori & George show up just in time to save Janet from being skinned alive by the carwash. Nick shows up as Hunts body is sucked through the hole & his organs are spewed everywhere. George then tells them he is ready to die.
Later that night they go to George`s home and find he has been trying to kill himself all day but all of his attempts prooved frivilous. They all realize they have cheated death.
A few days later, Nick & Lori are planning a vacation. Lori & Janet go to the mall to buy stuff for the trip as Nick & George realize there was another man in Nick`s vision. The man survived because Nick didnt ask him to move like he did in his vision. Lori & Janet go to see a movie in the mall as George & Nick head to the hospital. They witness the survivor die in his hospital room and flee the hospital. As they run outside George is hit by an ambulance and killed on the spot. Nick rushes to the mall and pulls Lori from the movie theater. Janet refuses to leave, and as Nick & Lori leave an explosion kills Janet. Many explosions take place and in the chaos Lori is voilentley killed in an escelator.
Nick pulls out of his vision of what `will` happen as he is leaving the hospital. He fails to save George and flees to the Mall. He stops the explosion completley and saves everyone, but in the chaos his arm is hurt severley.
Weeks later, Lori, Nick, and Janet are having coffee at a cafe`. As they sit and share laughs, Nick begins seeing signs. Posters for the film Lori & Janet saw, advertisments for the pool Hunt was killed at, and news about the race disaster on TV. Nick tells Lori & Janet this was the plan from the begining. Immediatley after he says this, a semi-truck smashes into the coffee shop; leaving everyone involved in the speedway disaster dead.
